To protect the financial investment in your vacation against unforeseen  illness, family crisis, acts of God, i.e. hurricanes, etcetera, please consider buying travel insurance.  There are many sites on the web that sell it.  We cannot make exceptions and give refunds outside of the above-stated policies should any unforeseen circumstance arise that is beyond our control that causes you to cancel your vacation.
